Introduction:
TRA SACCOS LTD is currently inviting applications from highly motivated Tanzanian graduates to join its 6-month internship program. The program aims to equip interns with hands-on experience in various fields, including Accountancy, Human Resources, Member Services, Credit, and Information Technology (IT).
Key Responsibilities:
The selected Computer Analyst Intern will work on:
- Enhancing the organization’s data infrastructure.
- Automating workflows and business processes.
- Ensuring optimal performance of databases and internal systems.
- Supporting system security and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Graduates must have an upper second-class or higher.
- Proficiency in SQL and database performance tuning.
- Experience with programming languages such as:
- Python
- Java
- NET
- Shell scripting (or similar for automation).
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows server environments.
- Solid understanding of data security and system compliance.
- 2+ years of experience in database administration and system management is an added advantage.
General Candidate Requirements:
Applicants must:
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Possesses strong communication skills (both in English and Kiswahili).
- Be independent and self-driven, with strong time management skills.
- Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills.
- Be not older than 30 years.
