This fully funded internship, officially known as the Visiting Student Research Program (VSRP), is designed for talented Bachelor’s and Master’s students from around the world.
The program offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects under the guidance of KAUST faculty members. One of the key advantages of this internship is its flexibility—participants can choose their start and end dates throughout the year. The internship lasts between three to six months and covers all expenses.

Eligibility Requirements
The internship is open to students of all nationalities. Specific requirements include:
- Undergraduate students must be in their third year of a Bachelor’s program.
- Graduate students must be enrolled in a Master’s program.
- A minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 or equivalent (14/20 or ECTS grade B).
- Proof of English proficiency may be required during the evaluation process. Accepted scores include:
